The dual Active DI designed by my friend Bo Hansen is now complete, along with its external power supply.
Both units were entirely handcrafted in our workshop for my best friend El Rey, using high-quality components such as Lundahl transformers, Vishay Dale resistors, WIMA capacitors, audio-grade electrolytic capacitors and Neutrik XLR and jack connectors.
For the enclosures we selected American walnut and finished them with Danish oil, giving them a warm and elegant look.
The DIs sound amazing, completely noise-free, with a THD of just 0.0011% at 1 kHz.
They’ve now found their place at Zero Gravity studio and have already been used in their first recordings.
